PROJECTS

Peter Chevako has designed, fabricated and performed animatronic puppets all over the world. In addition to his groundbreaking animatronic design, he is well-versed in the art of green screen and suit performing for the camera. Peter has also designed specialty items for theme parks and the medical industry.


Peter earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and studied in Rome, Italy as part of their European Honors Program. After a fellowship at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice, Italy, Peter returned to the US where he began a career in fabrication and puppeteering for the entertainment industry.

Chucky Movies

Peter was responsible for bringing Chucky to life in the films The Seed of Chucky, The Curse of Chucky and The Cult of Chucky.

Three Stooges

Peter created a lobster, a lion, a dolphin and other anamatronic animals, which evolved from props to scene partners.

NBA Finals Ad - Jordan - Talking Basketb

127 Hours

Peter was challenged with creating  a realistic amputation on set. He fabricated a false arm and recreated tendons, muscle, and bone breaks for Danny Boyle's film, 127 Hours.

NBA Talking Basketball

Peter constructed and puppeteered a talking basketball for a series of NBA Playoffs featuring players like Magic Johnson.
